Magnetic fields occur whenever a charge is in motion. As more charge is put in more motion, the strength of a magnetic field increases. Magnetism and magnetic fields are one aspect of the electromagnetic force, one of the four fundamental forces of nature.
As part of an introductory course for design projects in the 1st year of the degree at Shankar College, we researched well-known fashion houses.
At the beginning of the semester, we started researching legendary fashion houses, and I decided to explore Rei Kawakubo of Comme des Garçons.

Then we chose young brands that renew the face of fashion. THE BRAND Y/Project Led by the creative director Glenn Martens. We investigated the latest collections in dept to understand the brand's DNA, Its agendas, inspirations, design motifs, target audience, etc. After the research: I realized that the DNA of the brand, first and foremost, deals with the construction and deconstruction of cloth throw historical inspiration that is equibalanced to that method. Construction and deconstruction are expressed, In the design elements that Glenn Martins doubled and changed their traditional rules .in addition, design clothes are modular, versatile, and playful.
As part of the design project, we were asked to design our collection: inspired by our conclusions of what defines the DNA of the fashion house we choose.
That's why I chose inspiration from history, from the Renaissance period in which science developed and reduced the church's power. And specifically about the discoveries of magnetic fields. In the 1600s, William Gilbert demonstrated that Earth is basically a spherical magnet, with north and south poles and a magnetic field. The importance of magnetic fields is that they :Generated by the motion of molten iron in Earth's core, the magnetic field protects our planet from cosmic radiation and from the charged particles emitted by our Sun. It also provides the basis for navigation with a compass. The silhouette, design cuts, and textile choices were inspired by the shape of the fields, and the clothing details followed those that the brand designs. I achieved through the use of magnets embedded inside the garment the modular game that allows the outfit to be versatile
