The Spiral Is The Symbol Of Life And Death
this project was inspired by my visit to the Hundertwasser Museum in Vienna. And the motif of the count that returned in his works, alongside the quotes, inspired me for this project.
For Hundertwasser, it is the symbol of life and death, the act of creation and destruction, because the spiral – as opposed to the circle – never returns to its own point of origin. This spiral lies at that very point where inanimate matter is transformed into life. Our earth describes a spiral course. We move in circles, but we never come back to the same point. The circle is not closed. It is characteristic of a spiral that it seems to be a circle but is not closed. The spiral shows life and death in both directions. Starting from the center, the infinite small spiral means birth and growth, but by getting bigger and bigger, the spiral dilutes into the infinite space and dies off like waves that disappear in the calm waters. The spiral grows and dies like a plant - the lines of the spiral, like a meandering river, follow the laws of growth of a plant. It takes its own course and goes along with it. In this way, the spiral makes no mistakes.

The creation process was driven by a method similar to the spiral movement from the material to the form.
I started embroidering on a thread in a methodical spiral way without knowing where it would take me, but the material and the movement hypnotized and inspired me. t was only after a few days that the final vision was revealed to me.
After countless hours of embroidery, I could start assembling the garment, which is made entirely of embroidered thread and tulle.
